Yuchai YCK16 Engines Installed in Zoomlion Mining Trucks Delivered in Bulk to Peru

Recently, a batch of Zoomlion mining dump trucks powered by Yuchai YCK16 engines was successfully delivered in Peru and will be put into operation at a gold mining project in the Andes Mountains of northern Peru. As the core powertrain supplier, Yuchai, together with Zoomlion and local end customers, witnessed the further expansion of China’s high-end mining equipment into the Peruvian market.

Located in the northern Peruvian Andes, the mining site features typical operating conditions such as high altitude, steep slopes, heavy dust, and continuous heavy-duty operations, placing high demands on the mining trucks’ power, reliability, and durability.

As a key power solution designed for heavy-duty mining conditions, the Yuchai YCK16 engine delivers a maximum power output of 775 horsepower. Featuring high torque, strong hill-climbing capability, rapid response, and exceptional reliability, it provides a solid power foundation to ensure the efficient operation of Zoomlion’s mining trucks under complex mining conditions.
